Chris Brown’s bodyguard was found guilty of misdemeanor assault on today, and the performer himself will be going on trial for the same crime today as well.Christopher Hollosy and Brown were accused of attacking a man outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. last October.
Hollosy’s conviction on the assault charge may not be good news for Brown, whose own court proceedings are set to begin as early as Monday.
If the star is also found guilty, his probation in the infamous Rihanna assault case could be revoked, and a judge could sentence Brown to years behind bars.
He’s already been in custody since last month
after being arrested following his dismissal from court-mandated rehab treatment.
