They've already got thousands of girls watching their every move and swooning at their feet.
But One Direction have fast become a dab hand at promoting themselves and they clearly know exactly how to get their fans even more excited.
And what better way to do it than trying on some pants in front of millions of viewers during a live television show?
The 18-year-old and his bandmates, who flew Down Under to resume their tour last week, showed up to record a slot on Aussie TV show the Hot 30 Countdown.
They all took to their stalls ready to be interviewed by hosts Matty and Mel on the evening chart show.
But Liam quickly became the centre of attention when Matty reminded him that he had once promised to wear a pair of pants when they next saw each other.
And true to his word, Liam ensured he was a sport and played along when the presenter presented him with a pair of black pants, emblazoned with the Hot 30 Countdown logo.
Liam then pulled up the briefs over his outfit as his bandmates looked bemused and watched on.
And Matty soon got involved as he also put on a pair of the pants as the pair larked around.
The boys have been enjoying their time since they flew Down Under straight from their successful run Stateside.
They all took time out to enjoy a boat ride and a dip in the sea when they first stepped into the sunny country.
And both Liam and Louis have since taken up the native past time of surfing.
The boys were snapped taking to the waves as they received a lesson from an instructor, soon showing off their skills.
An excited Liam wrote on Twitter after his day of surfing: 'Me and louis just went surfing... louis was up first and for a long 1 like 30 FEET!!!!!! OMG then i stood up un two nice waves woohoo :)
'Surfing today was so amazing got on so many waves got some video so we will post it all soon !!!'
But they weren't the only bandmembers to make the most of their new found temporary home.
Both Harry and Zayn also took to a local Sydney nightclub to party the night away earlier this week, where they were spotted surrounded by a horde of female admirers.
But aside from the partying and play time they have also been hard at work carrying out a series of interviews.
And they also took to the stage today to perform their first Australian concert at the Hodern Pavilion in Sydney.
The boys showed off their singing skills during the matinee performance.
And they must be hoping their American success will be emulated Down Under.
They are currently celebrating after their debut US single What Makes You Beautiful broke the one million sales mark in the US.
The track has risen to number four in the Official Billboard Hot 100 chart, after selling 294,320 copies this week, bringing the total to date up to 1,129,852.
The song has already become a worldwide smash hit, reaching the top spot in the UK and Ireland, and also being awarded with the BRIT award Best British Single.
The music video for the song has also garnered over 97 million views so far.
The band also made history last month when their debut album Up All Night entered the US Billboard 200 chart at number one - making them the first ever British group to debut in the top spot in the US with their debut album release.
Up All Night has so far made No.1 in a staggering 15 countries worldwide.
